TRANSLATIONS 19,546
Ongoing work, 2023–present
TRANSLATIONS 19,546 is a durational archival body of work responding to the ongoing disappearance and displacement of Ukrainian children. The project unfolds across book, image, sound, and performance, resisting completion while insisting on record.
Conceived as a performative practice, the work understands the book not as a container but as an active site where meaning emerges through material encounter. Translation is used here not as conversion, but as a method for holding what cannot be fully known or resolved.
