THIS LAND

Ongoing work, 2019–present

THIS LAND is an ongoing body of work examining inherited memory, land, and displacement through the lens of Ukrainian and diasporic histories in Canada.

Drawing on archival materials, family histories, landscape photography, and moving image, the work traces how land holds both belonging and erasure across generations.

The project resists resolution, returning repeatedly to questions of settlement, loss, and responsibility as they continue to unfold.
